Celtic set up trip to Blarney
Clonmel Celtic are through to the last 16 of the Munster Junior Cup where they will travel to Cork to play Blarney Utd after overcoming Newport AFC 2-1 yesterday. The visitors went ahead with a free from Elliot Slattery but Celtic hit back and goals from Graham Kelly and a debut Celtic goal for Keenan Kerton had Celtic ahead at the break. Celtic held firm in the second half to advance to Round 5 (see reports for more details).
We hope the Newport ultras (pictured) enjoyed their trip to Clonmel and got home safely. They were a lively bunch yesterday and we can inform them that Drukie didn't get that flight to Turkey this morning as he will be too busy preparing for the next round of the Munster Junior Cup!!!
