Cup run ends for U14s
Clonmel Celtic went down 3-2 to Lions AFC on Saturday in the SFAI 15 Cup Rd 3. Celtic made the perfect start to the game and were ahead on 5 minutes with a neat finish from Sean Woods. Celtic pushed for a second but the visitors defended well and were level on 25 minutes with a fine free kick from Joey Dempsey. Celtic responded immediately and a fine goal from Kuba Jaowrski had them 2-1 up at the break. It was all to play for in the second period and there wasn't much in the game. The visitor's Jack Delahunty emerged as the match hero scoring twice to send Lions AFC into Round 4.
Meanwhile also on Saturday the U13s went down 4-0 away to Clonmel Town.
