It was a good weekend all round for Clonmel Celtic with all three teams in action scoring impressive home wins. First up was Clonmel Celtic Youths who began the defence of their Premier League title under new manager Jonathan Aylward with a good 4-2 win against Clonmel Town. On the scoresheet for Celtic were Michael O'Reilly, Dominik Mendel, Jack Aylward and Cillian O'Brien.
On Sunday afternoon Clonmel Celtic proved too strong for Wilderness Rovers recording a 6-0 win. Darren Sweeney and Philly Drohan scored second half doubles to add to Seanie Hawkins and Ayo Williams first half goals.
And to round up the weekend Clonmel Celtic B followed up their opening day win with a 4-2 victory over Tipperary Town B. Celtic came from behind in this one with goals from Ben Nugent, Sean Cronin, Dean McLaughlin and Michael Morrissey sealing the win for Celtic.
