After struggling for a few weeks Clonmel Celtic Youths got back to winning ways yesterday with a 4-1 win away to Slievenamon Celtic that sees them regain their spot at the top of Division 2. Celtic knew that a loss would have put a serious dent in their promotion challenge so they can be well pleased with their afternoon's work. After an early scare Celtic hit the front when Oisin O'Shea volleyed home excellently from an inswinging corner. The home side responded well with Joseph Cummins firing home from close range to tie up the game. Celtic regained the lead straight away with Paddy Ormond curling home a free. Just before the break Celtic made it 3-1 when Alex Greene intercepted a back pass to put Celtic two ahead at the break. The home side gave themselves a mountain to clim early in the second half when they conceded a penatly that Paddy Ormond converted to seal a crucial 4-1 win for Celtic.
