Clonmel Celtic Youths went down to their first defeat of the season as they were beaten 2-1 by Galbally Utd in a FAI Youth Cup preliminary round tie last Saturday. The early exchanges were even enough with both teams having half chances. Galbally took the lead after 20 minutes after Oisin o Donoghue made a save but Eoin O'Sullivan was quickest to react and he slotted home to put the home side ahead. To compound matters Celtic lost captain Ciaran Fitzpatrick to injury shortly afterwards. Celtic regrouped and got to half time having made a couple of more half chances. Celtic started the second half brightly but fell further behind on 60 mins when James O'Sullivan doubled Galbally's lead. The visitors rallied and got their reward with two mins to go . Paddy Ormonde'S great free was headed home by debutat Darragh McVicker . Celtic pressed for the last few mins but couldn't find the equaliser.
