Clonmel Celtic Under 14s and U12s picked up impressive wins last weekend. Clonmel Celtic U14s always looked in control against Shanbally Utd but had to rely on a defensive lapse to lead at the break that Jack Aylward took full advantage off. A double from Alex Richter in the second period made the game safe as Celtic ran out 3-0 winners.
Meanwhile the Under 12s bounced back from last week's defeat to pick up thieir second win of the season with a 4-2 victory at Clerihan. Celtic actually fell behind after 3 minutes but quickly took control of this game. Kyle Ryan equalised for Celtic and Fred French Davis had Celtic 2-1 up at the break. Celtic remained in control after the break with Kyle Ryan adding his second before man of the match Fred French Davis scored almost from the half way win to put the game beyond Clerihan. The home side scored a late consolation but it didn't take away from a fine performance and result for Celtic.
