Celtic's wait continues
Clonmel Celtic still await their first win since the opening day of the season after they went down 2-0 to St Michaels yesterday. The visitors hit the front on 13 minutes when Jonathan Kennedy headed home a Shane Ryan cross. St Michaels had the bulk of the possession and despite create numerous chances they couldn't add a second before the break. The second half followed the same pattern with Celtic sitting deep and the visitors doing the pressing. However Celtic almost found a way back into the game but Peter O'Dowd was denied by a fine save. St Michaels put the game to bed on 78 minutes when David Slattery headed home a Shane Ryan cross.
