Following on from the u14s league success Clonmel Celtic U12s were crowned U12 Championship winners after a 2-0 Play off victory against St Michaels this morning. Well taken goals in each half from Jamal Yousif and Jack Aylward was enough to give Celtic victory and claim the league title. Between those goals Keelan Houlihan made a couple of stunning saves either side of the break to deny an impressive St Michaels a route back into the game. Visit reports section for coach Adam Hunt's match report. Adam, together with Jonathan and Wal will be well pleased their hard work over the season has paid off rewarding them with a league title in their debut season of competitive football.
Thanks to Texaco/Spar for providing refreshements for the game and special thanks to Rosie, Catherine and Eva for preparing the food.
For the vanquished St Michaels, they contirbuted magnificently to an entertaining morning's football. They are a quality side who will be winning trophies sooner rather than later.
