Celtic progress
Clonmel Celtic progressed to Round 4 of the FAI U15 Sketchers Cup after a 3-0 derby win against Clonmel Town last Saturday morning. Senan Butler scored twice and Daithi Hogan was also on the scoresheet for Celtic. Celtic are just round away from the open draw and if they can manage to get past the next round they will create a little bit of club history by becoming the first Celtic schoolboy team to reach the open stage. The games however get progresively harder in each round so Celtic can expect a tough challenge in Round 4. The U12s National Cup fixture away to Peake Villa last Saturday was cancelled due to the weather.
