Clonmel Celtic's Last Man Standing Competition will start on Saturday 14th Septemebr 2019. It's €10 to enter with a prize of €1000 for the winner. As you are aware the club recently installed a new All Weather Pitch with some capital assistance from both the Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism and Tipperary County Council. As well as coming up with our own funds to complete the project we also had the additional costs of professional fees (mainly legal) that were greater than we had anticipated. We hope a successful Last Man Standing Fundraiser with your assistance will help us recoup some of this money. Most people are familiar with the rules but just in case you need refreshing:
Aim of the game
• Select a team from the English Premier league for each round of fixtures. If this team wins you progress to the next round. A draw or loss and you are eliminated. Each team may only be selected once.
• Winner is the last person to survive
Rules of the game
• €10 per entry to be paid by 13th September 2019
• Game commences on 14th September 2019.
• Teams must be submitted at least two hours before the first game kicks off in each round of fixtures.
• Failure to submit a team by the deadline will result in an automatic selection. The next team alphabetically available to you from your previous selection will be your selection, e.g. Last week you selected Chelsea and won, but this week you failed to nominate a team so Crystal Palace will be your automatic selection.
• In the event of all remaining players being eliminated together, then all those players gain a bonus life.
• Any team whose game is postponed after entry deadline are awarded a win.
• Clonmel Celtic management committee’s decision is final.
Teams can be submitted via the following means. Please ensure to state both your name and team:
• By text message to 086 3614082 or 085 1448711.
• By email to richardkiely77@hotmail.com or johnnywas66@gmail.com
