A brace from Alex Greene (file/pic) helped Clonmel Celtic Under 14s to an important 4-0 win away to Peake Villa on Saturday. Celtic had a very comfortable victory at home to Villa a few weeks ago but Peake were much improved and despite having the better chances in the opening period there were no goals in a scrappy first half. Celtic made the perfect start to the second half with Alex Greene taking advantage of a defensive error to put Celtic 1-0 up. Five minutes later Alex Greene got on the end of a fine pass from Jake Forristal to round the keeper and double Celtic's lead. Midway through the second half Celtic went 3-0 up with great work from Michael Prendergast on the right and Adam Zorgati was on hand to finish and make the game safe for Celtic. Jake Forristal coolly slotted home with five minutes left on the clock to seal a 4-0 win for Celtic. A special mention for Tyler Aylward who made his U14 debut today and played very well.
