Back to winning ways
Celtic U13s bounced back from their disappointing derby defeat with a convincing 3-2 win against St Kevins in Ferryhouse last night. Dominik Mendel had Celtic 1-0 to the good at the break. St Kevins hit back early in the second half to level the game before U12 Jack Aylward's stunning strike restored Celtic's lead. However a lapse in defence resulted in Celtic conceding a penalty and the visitors scored to level the game again. However with 12 minutes remaining St Kevin's keeper couldn't hold on to Dominik Mendel's shot and this time Celtic held out for a deserved win. In fact with a little bit more composure with their finishing Celtic could have won this game more comfortably. A good performance overall and a welcome three points.
