Clonmel Celtic is well represented on the South Tipperary Under 13 and Under 14 squads that will be heading north this weekend to take part in the Island of Ireland Tournament. I'm sure it will be another great experience for all the players involved. Best of luck!!

The tournament will pit 4 teams from the North v 4 from ROI in the opening fixtures at U13 (2006) age group and the same arrangements at U15 (2004) age group, and thereafter will follow the draw schedule.
For SUBWAY, Chairman Muhammed Atif said they were delighted to continue to support an event that opened new horizons for the participants and was another step in the player development process.
"John Earley, SFAI Chairman, said we welcome the opportunity to continue the cordial relations with our cross-border colleagues, the SUBWAY support for under-age football on the Island of Ireland is very much appreciated and he commended SUBWAY for their contribution across the various age groups, he also wished all the teams an enjoyable football tournament in UU Jordanstown on 1st June next."
NIBFA Chairman Gerry Ward welcomed the opportunity this event offers to reciprocate the hospitality shown to the NIBFA Leagues at last year’s event held at Limerick University, “we had a fantastic day of football and sportsmanship shown from all the participants, this has all been made possible with the support from SUBWAY whose investment has been a fantastic boost for youth football and the social development of the players”.
