The TSSDL (Tipperary Schoolboys Southern District League) has introduced changes to the non competitive Under 10 and 11 leagues for the coming season. The league explains ''Over the years getting the balance right between enjoyment and keeping teams competitive has been a issue so this year we are trialing the following. Initially teams are placed in groups on a geographical bases where possible and based on results teams will be moved into groups were they are matched on ability and skill levels. For example the
U11 Blue North Group has 4 teams. Once every team has played each other home and away they are graded 1-4. The no 1's will be placed in a group with the other number 1's from the other BLUE groups, 2' with the 2's and the 3's with the 3's and so on. The aim is to have teams matched on ability and skill levels''.
