Comeback falls short
When Celtic U12s lost the toss to Town B you had the feeling they were going to be in for a very difficult first half in the wind and rain in Ferryhouse on Saturday morning. And the visitors took full advantage of the conditions racing into an interval 3-0 lead. Indeed it could have been more but for some fine saves from Celtic keeper Keelan Houlihan with one in particular drawing gasps of amazement from the rain soaked spectators. Celtic had a mountain to climb at the break but the management team will take some consolation from their battling second half effort that just saw them fall short. Celtic were camped in Town's half and goals from Jack Aylward and Jack Kealy brought them right back into the game but another goal proved elusive.
