Derby Delight for Celtic
Clonmel Celtic collected their first points of the season with a hard fought 3-2 win away to Clonmel Town this afternoon. A double from the prolific Kyle Ryan had Celtic 2-1 up at the break. Johnny Cagney increased the lead from a free kick five minutes after the interval but Town hit back shortly afterwards to set up a tense last half hour. Celtic had to dig deep and had keeper Ben Conway to thank when he saved a penalty with 5 minutes remaining. Celtic held on to claim an important three points. A welcome win for Celtic and hopefully something they can build on.
