The club was delighted to learn during the week that our application to Tipperary County Council for a sports capital grant to replace our All Weather surface was successful with the award of a grant for €22,000. This combined with the approval of a Sports Capital Grant by the Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism for a similar amount last December and money raised through two club fundraisers this season (FAI Club Draw and Last Man Standing) means that we now have approximately 70% of the cost of the project which hopefully means we will have a brand new All Weather Pitch in time for the new season. We would like to thank Tipperary County Council, Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism and everyone who supported our fundraisers this season.
