Derby Stalemate
A youthful looking Clonmel Celtic had to settle for a 2-2 draw with neighbours Clonmel Town at the Complex this afternoon despite being 2-0 up at the break. An early penalty by Johnny Cagney (pic/file) and a second from Kevin Hawkins just before half time had Celtic in a good position at the break. However Town came back strongly in the second period scoring twice and they nearly snatched it at the death but were denied by a superb stop by stand in keeper Kenny O'Shea pushing a goal bound effort on to the post.
