Celtic down and out
Clonmel Celtic bowed out of this season's FAI Junior Cup after going down 3-1 to Clare side Newmarket Celtic this afternoon. Ian Barnes gave Celtic some hope when he halved the deficit from the spot on 70 minutes but Newmarket sealed a deserved win with a breakaway goal on 86 minutes. The Clare side looked well equipped to go a long way and we wish them the best of luck in the rest of the competition. (See Reports Section)
